Department of Electrical, Electronics, and Communication Engineering (EECE) was established in 2009 with a vision to provide high-quality technical education and foster innovation in the field. Over the years, it has evolved into a center of excellence, equipping students with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the rapidly advancing world of electrical, electronics, and communication engineering.

G-Electra is a dynamic student-led club under the Department of Electrical, Electronics & Communication Engineering. It’s dedicated to building skills in smart systems and related technologies, where students are encouraged to develop prototypes and real-world systems with faculty guidance. Our mission is to prepare students for successful careers by equipping them with the practical experience needed in core industries.

HAVANA is the flagship national-level tech fest of GITAM Hyderabad, organized by G-Electra. It brings together innovators and students from across universities through robotics competitions, hackathons, and project showcases, creating a platform that encourages innovation, collaboration, and experiential learning beyond classrooms.
